August was a good month for many Edinburg retailers.
Sales tax revenue in Edinburg grew by 33% on a year-over-year basis, according to the October report (based on August sales) published today by the Texas Comptroller. The City collected about $2.8 million in October.
Edinburg’s sales tax revenue growth rate ranked second among cities in the Rio Grande Valley.
