Boot Barn is preparing to open a new 15,000-square-foot store near Interstate 69C and Canton Road in Edinburg, according to a newly registered state construction filing.
The Western and work wear retailer plans to renovate an existing space at 2636 S. Interstate 69C, within a property identified in the filing as Fairhaven Crossing.
The privately funded project carries an estimated construction cost of $350,000, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction is scheduled to begin Nov. 9 and be completed March 15, 2027.
Plans call for new walls, finishes, fixtures and paint as the existing space is converted for Boot Barn.
Fairhaven Crossing Ltd. is listed as the property owner, while the filing indicates the tenant is providing the funds for the renovation. St. Louis-based ArcVision is listed as the project’s design firm.
Boot Barn specializes in Western apparel, footwear and work wear, including cowboy boots, jeans, hats and work boots.
State construction filings provide an early look at planned projects but are preliminary and subject to change. The filing does not specify when the new Boot Barn store is expected to open.
