Edinburg, TX — An exciting new chapter is underway in the heart of the City of Edinburg with the development of a downtown parking garage designed to better serve the city’s growing and vibrant community.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the $6.2 million project—made possible in part by a $2 million contribution from the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC)—will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the corner of McIntyre Street and Closner Boulevard.
Once completed, the city parking garage will feature three stories with 268 parking spaces. Construction is estimated to be completed in 12 months, weather permitting.
